Peter Durland

Practice
Peter is an associate attorney at JMMK, where he works on a variety of land use and real estate matters. Before attending law school, Peter gained experience in a wide variety of legal fields including family law, bankruptcy, personal injury, and trusts and estates. Peter brings this breadth of knowledge to his practice at JMMK. While attending law school, Peter was awarded the Gary L. Chamberlain student research fellowship, presenting his paper on Seattle tree retention before the Center for Environmental Justice and Sustainability. As a lifelong Seattle resident, Peter has a passion for using his legal education to enhance the Puget Sound area, volunteering through King County Bar Association Legal Clinics to advocate for those with limited means.
In his free time, Peter enjoys backpacking, soccer, and building things on his family’s property near Lake Wenatchee.
